About the Game:
You wake in a collapsing tower with no memory. The only other person here—a silver-tongued mage named Ilar—claims to be saving your life through a desperate ritual. Yet, their story keeps changing and you keep dying.
This is Chronicles of Taldun: the Remainder, a dark fantasy visual novel where death is not the end—it's how you learn the truth.
Play as Vyn, a High Magus trapped with Ilar in a tower that's tearing itself apart. Each death reveals another fragment of memory, another piece of the mystery. Were you colleagues? Lovers? Enemies? The deeper you dig, the less certain you become, and the more you realize Ilar may not be trying to save you at all.
Read between the lines. Explore for clues. Use hands-on deduction to break the vicious circle and set them both free.

Who Are the Square Weasels
We’re a married non-binary couple who started our careers as concept artists and illustrators in video games, board games, and publishing before embarking on a journey of indie story-telling in 2020. We live in Croatia with two cats and 30 some plants. (I know cats are not weasels, but aren’t they kinda?)
